About Stour Valley Men's Shed
Welcome to Stour Valley Men's Shed – a friendly community workshop where men can come together to make things, learn new skills, share experience and enjoy good company.
As part of the UK Men's Sheds movement, we believe that staying active, keeping busy and sharing practical skills can make a real difference. Whether you're newly retired, looking to meet new people or simply enjoy making and repairing things, you'll always find a warm welcome here.
More Than Just a Workshop
Every week our members work on a wide variety of projects.
Some members enjoy woodworking or repairing tools, while others simply enjoy having a chat over a cup of tea. Everyone contributes in their own way, whether that's sharing decades of experience or learning something completely new.
There's no pressure to attend every week and no expectation that you already have practical skills. Come when you can and get involved as much—or as little—as you like.
Supporting Our Community
One of the things we're most proud of is giving back to the local community.
Our members regularly undertake projects that benefit schools, community groups, charities and vulnerable people across the Stour Valley.
From building planters and repairing benches to creating bespoke items for local organisations, every project is an opportunity to use our skills to make a positive difference.
